We can install or build path and walk ways through and around your food forest, incorporating seating areas, natural places to make dens or perhaps a play house. Installing a food forest will fuel your child’s imagination, when play time is over and it’s time for lunch; what could be better than harvesting some of your lunch ingredients from your own garden.
In the short term the food forest will require a little extra work to get established, we can install irrigation systems and arrange a maintenance schedule to help you through these early stages. Once established the perennial food forests require less maintenance and expense than looking after a lawn and flower beds.
In 95 % of uk properties you wouldn’t need any planning permission to install a food forest if you are concerned we can check with local councils, if you live in a new property the planning applications can be checked through for restrictions.
We have over 270 native trees and shrubs that will produce an abundance of fruits, nuts, and berries. We can install kitchen gardens to produce vegetable, salad leaves and herbs. There are also a multitude of no- native trees, shrubs and plants that are suitable to grow in a Uk. Giving you all the options to grow food you will eat and enjoy.
Even with a small space we can install a small grow tent creating a micro climate or small wall vertical grow feature – both of these systems can be supplied with irrigation system lighting and quick growing plants to make sure you can add a small amount of fresh food, herbs and spices to every meal. 365 days a year!
